Paxil is an antidepressant medication, used to treat clinical depression.

Some other similar antidepressant drugs are: Prozac, Zoloft, and Celexa. All these antidepressant drugs work by increasing the serotonin level in the brain, which elevates mood.

Paxil has also been discovered to help anxiety, reducing worries and stimming.
